La Baia is a classic French and Italian fusion restaurant located in White Rock, British Columbia. For the last 35 years, La Baia has been a staple in the White Rock community for tourists and locals alike. Offering an intimate, cozy atmosphere, and contemporary Italian comfort food, you are guaranteed to leave feeling happy and satisfied. Our new chef from Europe has taken our traditional menu and elevated it even further to offer Italian classics, with a modern twist using the finest local ingredients.
Challenge
La Baia had recently been purchased and the new ownership was looking to revamp the restaurant. They wanted to keep the name that had built a great reputation over the last 35 years but they wanted to rebrand and update the restaurant to honour its tradition and attract new clientele. They brought on a new chef, who designed an elevated menu and wanted to offer online order and delivery options so guests could enjoy their new food options at home.
Solution
We worked with the La Baia staff to understand the history of the restaurant and its position in the White Rock community. We also interviewed their new chef about his vision for the menu and incorporated both perspectives to create a new website for the restaurant. We worked with a local photographer in White Rock to capture new images of the restaurant and new food items. These images were used throughout the website and on all online delivery service apps (including Skip The Dishes, Uber Eats, and DoorDash) as well as their own online order system through the website.
