When you are writing a blog or posting something on social media you should do it in a way that will attract people. Also, let your audience learn something new from you. There is no point in reading something that you already know everything about, there has to be value in what you are reading.
For example, did you know that blogging increases the traffic of a website by six times? Also, blog posts that have images are more likely to attract a wider readership because the points seem easier to understand. Provide your audience with information since they are already an intelligent bunch.
Your content has a huge part to play in displaying your brand, but it is not only about the content that you write. You have to do more. You need to look for relatable tools that you can incorporate into your writing.
You have to take your time to think carefully about what you are going to post. It would be great to regularly update your posts, so your page can remain active, but it will not do you any good if your aim is just to swamp your website with posts. Give your viewers something to think about and show them proof that what you are saying is true.
How can you do that?
Give them facts
Facts can be about things that have been recently discovered, studies, or quotes from experts in the field. If you are writing about the cannabis industry, the corporate world or management you should probably keep up with what’s new. Know what is happening in that particular industry, changes or policies that are being made, and the implications that they have toward the sector.
Provide statistics from recent studies
Each year a new study is carried out and released. Statistics give people a rough idea of how things are only that they are more defined since they give numbers. Give your audience figures and let them soak in information. Statistics make your blog seem well thought of and it shows that you took the time to write up your content.
Connect the idea you are trying to sell with real-life examples
People love stories! If, for example, you are trying to show how teaching as a profession will fluctuate in the coming years and you want to show how it can possibly add up, you can use examples like this one; ‘If Mary and John pursue a bachelor of science degree in teaching and they manage to convince their 6 classmates from Cityland High to join them at City State University and pursue the same course…’
Layout your scenario in a way that will relate to what you are trying to prove.
Use videos and images
If there are videos that will help further explain what you are saying they can go a long way in helping your reader understand better. Also, relatable images are a great way to keep your reader engaged. If you are writing a Do it yourself piece, images are essential.
Images help in breaking down points.
Spice up your content and keep your audience interested.
