Around 4 million people currently use social media every single day around the globe. Another fun social media fact: nearly 84% of users on the internet are on social media. Showing you just how powerful marketing your brand on social media is. In fact, if you don’t utilize it, you might as well stop and throw your business plan in the trash.
As harsh as that may sound, it’s true. Over 2 billion people sign into Facebook, 100 million sign into TikTok and 1 billion sign into Instagram each and every single month to post or interact and share with their favorite people. Yet again, enforcing the importance of social media marketing.
Here are five fun ways to share your brand’s story on social media:
#1: Photo Albums Series
Upload an album of pictures that shares a story as you move through the album. Add brief captions but leave the story flow and arc up to the imagines and pictures you pick. Create behind-the-scenes stories or ones that showcase your audience and the results they can achieve. Keep the album short and remember to apply the rule of thirds if you want your audience to focus.
#2: Podcasts
Take your brand’s image and goals and transform them into a podcast. Talk about real-life experiences that are relatable to your brand and audience, and then let them know what you can do to help them. You can even start an audiobook series of your story to have your customers join in each week to see what happens next.
#3: Instagram Stories or Reels
Take your viewers behind the scenes or show them what a day-to-day life looks like with you. Create short stories that teach or solve a lesson that they can easily follow while on a short break.
#4: Hashtags
Use as many hashtags as you can, especially on platforms like Instagram. This is how your audience can find you. Create one for your brand name that sticks out and describes your brand perfectly. Encourage your audience to use it to get exposure.
#5: YouTube or Facebook Ads
Tell your brand’s origin story through a series of short YouTube or Facebook Ads. Start with an ad that shares your history, then develop one that explains who you are, and finally one that invites your audience with a call-to-action. Not only will you reach more people with an ad, but the story you develop will be more clickable and enticing.
Don’t get lost behind your competition. Utilize these ideas and take advantage of the opportunities social media has to offer. It’s a great resource to share your visual, oral, and written stories to attract more loyal customers.
